What are your recommendations for young university students?
I recommend them to choose their sectors before they begin their professional careers by increasing their self-awareness and thoroughly examining their fields of interest, competencies and personal interests. By improving their qualifications such as foreign language, computer knowledge, etc. before they enter the business life, they will stay ahead of the herd. Before they are involved in the job interview processes, they should take a few moments to get to know the company where they will have the interview, and to be aware of why they applied to that company and the position in particular.
What are your suggestions for new graduates with respect to writing CV’s and getting prepared for job interviews?
We recommend new graduates to write CVs which conform to the norms of the European Union and in which they express their targets and themselves the best and the shortest way. If they are invited for a job interview, it would be better if they can answer the questions by giving concrete examples from their own lives.
Moreover, it will create a positive impact on the interviewer if they have increased their self-awareness during their university years, as would acting sincerely during the interview and steering clear of trying to pretend they are something they’re not.
